You will extend and refine a wide-range of analytical, technical, creative, conceptual and managerial skills to your chosen field in the music industry. From the specialist units you can extend your skills in music composition, arrangement, directing or performance. Performance may be as freelance, soloist or in a group. Specific skills may include using musical instruments, leading a performance from a repertoire or improvisation. From the elective units you can develop other specialist skills related to the music industry such as project management, innovation and creative thinking, songwriting, making a record, releasing a record and making a music video.
