This course will provide you with the expertise skills needed to design and validate electronics and communication equipment and systems, manage risk, estimate and manage projects, and provide technical advice. You will also learn how to solve electro technical engineering problems and develop strategies to address environmental and sustainability issues in the energy sector. This course also offers pathways into university with our partner universities.

Applicants must have 3 years Senior Middle School (Academic, Technical or Vocational), or 5 years Technical School plus 2 years post secondary. Other English Language Requirements accepted: TOEFL Computer based score of 530 (paper based test) or 197 (computer-based test); PTE A Minimum Score of 42.

Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent). Non school-leavers must have relevant work experience or qualification that indicates likely success of course completion.
Students should be a minimum of 18 years of age.
They must satisfy the following requirements such as 5.5 on IELTS with no individual score less than 5.0; PTE Academic (Pearsons Test of English) Overall score 46; Successful completion of 12 weeks TAFE Queensland English Language Program (TQELP) with results certified to course entry level; TOEFL: 69 (internet based test), 530 (paper based test), 197 (computer based test); ISLPR: 2+ on 4 skills - reading, writing, listening and speaking; First Cambridge Certificate of English, C Grade; Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English; Successful completion of a vocational course of Australian Qualifications Framework Level 3 or higher, in which the medium of instruction is English; Sound achievement, or equivalent, Year 12 Board English in an Australian School; Successful completion on TQELP English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
