专业简介
Develop the practical and technical skills to design and draft various engineering applications and drawings for transport systems, pipelines, dams, bridges, high-rise buildings and plant, mining and industrial water and waste management facilities. Employers actively seek our students due to our industry-relevant and practical training which is accredited by Engineers Australia, the peak body for engineering professionals in Australia. Our pathways to university provide graduates with credit towards engineering bachelor degrees when they enrol with our partner universities.

If you want to go on to further study at university, TAFE Queensland has a pathway option to get you there. In many cases, completing one of our diplomas will give you a full year of credit towards a degree with one of our partner universities. Applicants must have 3 years Senior Middle School (Academic, Technical or Vocational), or 5 years Technical School plus 2 years post secondary. Other English Language Requirements accepted: TOEFL Computer based score of 530 (paper based test) or 197 (computer-based test); PTE A Minimum Score of 42.

Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent) with a Sound Achievement in Maths; or Satisfactory completion of CN649/CNJ30 Preparatory Studies - TGN151 Technical Communication or Recognized Certificate III or IV; Non school-leavers must have relevant work experience or qualification that indicates likely success of course completion.
Students should be a minimum of 18 years of age.
They must satisfy the following requirements such as 6.0 on IELTS with no individual score less than 5.5; PTE Academic (Pearsons Test of English) Overall score 54; Successful completion of 12 weeks TAFE Queensland English Language Program (TQELP) with results certified to course entry level; TOEFL: 73 (internet based test), 534 (paper based test); ISLPR: 3 on all skills; First Cambridge Certificate of English (FCE) and Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) 169; Successful completion of TAFE Queensland English Language Program at a pre-advanced level.
