Master your legal knowledge across a range of employment sectors If you are a Law graduate who wishes to further develop your knowledge of the law in your own particular field, then the Master of Legal Studies lets you tailor your studies to meet your individual learning requirements. The course has been specifically developed to meet the growing demand for law graduates with a comprehensive understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks of their particular area in either the public or private sector. An extremely flexible degree, you can choose to complete your studies either entirely by coursework, or via a mix of coursework and a minor research project or dissertation. Whether you are from an insurance, HR, finance or administrative employment background you are encouraged to incorporate your existing sector knowledge and experience into your studies in order to meet your specific learning and career objectives. Study a Master of Legal Studies at UC and you will: gain a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of focused areas of legal studies and current legal issues reflect critically on legal theory identify, research, evaluate and synthesise relevant factual, complex legal and policy issues, drawing on a range of sources apply legal reasoning and research to generate appropriate responses to legal issues. Work Integrated Learning A key component of the Master of Legal Studies is to undertake a specialised real-world research project or dissertation of your choosing, which will enhance your employability and ensure you are armed with the right mix of skills and knowledge to take a confident leap into your future career in law. 为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have a bachelor qualification, or equivalent, in a related field or Bachelor qualification, or equivalent, in an unrelated field and three years' work experience or Bachelor qualification, or equivalent, in an unrelated field and Graduate Certificate in Business or higher. English language requirements: International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.0 with no band score below 6.0; Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): IBT - Overall score of 60 with no skill score below: R3: 16, L: 15, S: 18, W: 22; Pearson Test of English (PTE): Academic - 50 with no skill score below 50; Cambridge English Scale (CES) - 169 with no individual sub-score below 169; Occupational English Test (OET) - No grade lower than 'C' in any of the sub-tests. 国际学生入学条件 Admission is open to graduates Law. Applicants will normally have a Grade Point Average of 5.0 or higher in their undergraduate Law degree or hold qualifications deemed equivalent. To be eligible students must have an Overall Academic IELTS score of 6.5, including at least 6.5 for writing, with no band score less than 6.0; Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Overall score of 79 with no skill score below: R: 16, L: 16, S: 18, W: 22; Pearson Test of English (PTE): 58 with no skill score below 50; Cambridge English Scale (CES): 176 with no individual sub-score below 169; Occupational English Test (OET): No grade lower than 'C' in any of the sub-tests; UC English Language Proficiency Test: Minimum overall grade of 'C'.
