The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) is designed to develop the skills, knowledge and personal qualities you'll need as an occupational therapist. You'll learn how to optimize your client's independence and improve their daily lives. Be confident and job-ready after completing 1000 hours on placements across your program. You'll work with a range of clients affected by injury or illness, psychological difficulties, or developmental delays or ageing. Acquire a thorough understanding of the theory and practice underpinning occupational therapy. You'll develop knowledge of the medical, social behavioral, psychological, and psychosocial sciences that will aid you in helping people recover. Gain practical experience from your first year of study in a variety of community and healthcare settings at UQ's own occupational therapy clinics as well as external partners throughout Queensland.
