Combine the complementary disciplines of sustainable systems engineering and industrial design, to give you a head-start in industry. In the sustainable systems engineering component of this program, you’ll learn holistic approaches to the design of sustainable technologies and engineering systems for global development. You’ll have the opportunity to specialize in energy and transport and logistics. You’ll also learn to protect, restore and create engineered and natural systems that are socially, environmentally and economically sustainable. Industrial design offers technical, theoretical, and applied design opportunities. A focus of your studies in this area is on developing innovative, original and ethical designers. You’ll have the opportunity to design creative solutions through inspiring and sustainable design-and-build projects, as well as taking part in the Engineers without Borders Challenge - a humanitarian-focused course offered in all RMIT engineering degrees. Your final-year project will combine and develop the skills and knowledge defined by Engineers Australia - the experience you need to commence your professional engineering career. The project will provide an opportunity to integrate engineering and industrial design capabilities. In addition, design studios through preceding years of the program provide research and design project experiences where real-world projects are undertaken within industry and community organizations on issues of significance. International student visa holders can only study full-time. Multiple campuses Years 1, 2 and 3 are conducted on the City campus and years 4 and 5 are shared between the City and Bundoora campuses. The industrial design component is studied on the City campus for all five years. Career Graduates of this program will be ideally placed to find work in the areas of energy, transport, logistics, sustainable product design, energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainable transport systems and vehicles, manufacturing, and logistics. Further study When you successfully complete this program, you may be eligible for entry into an RMIT postgraduate program or RMIT Masters by Research or Doctoral (PhD) program.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have obtained a score of 25 - 31. Applicants must have completed a recognized equivalent Year 12 studies program to the required standard. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 (no band less than 6.0); TOEFL (Paper Based Test) score of 580 (TWE* 4.5); TOEFL (Internet Based Test – iBT): Overall score 92 with minimum of 20 in all sections; Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): 58 (no communication band less than 50); Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE): 176 with no less than 169 in any component. 国际学生入学条件 You must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification) with a minimum average of 70%.
