Electives and program structure
Year 1
You’ll develop a breadth of skills and knowledge across the aviation industry, while learning basics in business such as accounting and economics.
Year 2
You’ll learn the operational and management aspects of airlines and airports, as well as cargo and logistics, ground handling, and safety. Your business studies will include marketing and pricing strategies.
Years 3 and 4
While completing your studies you’ll have the opportunity to tailor your degree to your preferred area of future employment.

You can gain entry to the Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation)/Bachelor of Business (Management) from RMIT Foundation Studies or a range of vocational study programs.

Applicants must have obtained a score of 25 - 31. Applicants must have completed a recognized equivalent Year 12 studies program to the required standard. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 (no band less than 6.0); TOEFL (Paper Based Test) score of 580 (TWE* 4.5); TOEFL (Internet Based Test – iBT): Overall score 92 with minimum of 20 in all sections; Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): 58 (no communication band less than 50); Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE): 176 with no less than 169 in any component.
