Course structure Successful completion of 200 credit points, made up of: Discipline subjects (75–112.5 points), including compulsory subjects plus electives Professional skills subjects (37.5–62.5 points) Core practical work (50 points). Students who excel in GEOL90022 Practical Earth Science A may be able to complete a 25-point research project, subject to the availability of an appropriate supervisor. This project is designed for students who demonstrate high aptitude and potential for research and, after successfully completing the project, you may be eligible to apply for a PhD.
