The general MA in English Literature allows you to build up a varied portfolio of modules by choosing among the various areas of study on offer within the School. Alternatively, you may choose to focus your studies in a particular specialism, such as American Literature, Early Modern Literature, Film or Literary Linguistics. All MA students receive research training, careers support, and the course culminates in a dissertation, a project that you develop under the supervision of an expert in a relevant academic field.
