This degree allows you to study periods from 500 CE to the present, from countries around the world. It is carefully structured to help you develop the skills to write and debate history. Throughout your degree, you will build on these skills as you analyse a body of material about an area of your choice, write a dissertation, and work with primary sources to create a detailed study of a particular topic. By the end of the course, your wide range of skills will include the ability to communicate effectively, construct a logical argument and analyse large amounts of information, as well as an understanding of the techniques and theories used by historians.
