You have the opportunity to tailor your degree to suit your particular interests and aspirations, gaining a thorough knowledge of fundamental cell and molecular biology and its application to biotechnology. You can also take advantage of an optional year out in industry between years two and three, where you can spend a year working in your chosen area, improving your skills and enhancing your employability. Students also have the opportunity to study this degree for a semester or year abroad, at the University’s Malaysia Campus or at one of our partner institutions in France, Germany or Spain and graduate with a Certificate in European Studies in addition to your degree.
