The BSc Veterinary Biosciences course offers specialist training in the biology and research that underpins veterinary science and its associated disciplines. You will graduate equipped for a diverse range of careers in the veterinary profession, including biosciences research, diagnostics, vaccine development, animal welfare and nutrition, animal infectious diseases, food safety and veterinary ecology. The BSc Veterinary Biosciences programme provides excellent preparation for a wide range of careers in biological sciences, veterinary research, animal health and disease, public health, animal nutrition, and ecology and conservation. The programme may also provide a suitable platform for undertaking a further undergraduate degree in veterinary medicine or a postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD).
