The International Foundation Programme takes place at the University of Kent, and students are full members of the University with access to University accommodation and all academic, welfare, social and sport facilities on campus. The University of Kent has been offering international foundation programmes for over 20 years. The Programme is taught by highly qualified University of Kent tutors and leads to a range of degree programmes in the Social Sciences and including pathways to Law and Business.

For entry to a Kent undergraduate degree programme, Chinese students typically need to have completed – the first year of a Bachelor degree (Xueshi) with an average grade of at least 75% or equivalent from a 211 university, or 80% from other recognised institutions. Students from China with a wide variety of qualifications and experiences will be considered. Some departments may have slightly different entry criteria.
