Through Religions Studies, you learn the place, role and influence of religion and religions in human culture, with a specific focus on Europe. Religion is also a key factor in any study of Europe – particularly Europe in the Middle Ages – an area of particular expertise in History at Kent. Studying History you learn how to approach and critically analyse many types of sources within their proper contexts, and gain an understanding of exactly how they have impacted upon different individuals, groups and events – both in the past and today. Both subjects follow a modular structure allowing students to tailor their studies to their own interests.

For entry to a Kent undergraduate degree programme, Chinese students typically need to have completed – the first year of a Bachelor degree (Xueshi) with an average grade of at least 75% or equivalent from a 211 university, or 80% from other recognised institutions. Students from China with a wide variety of qualifications and experiences will be considered. Some departments may have slightly different entry criteria.
