Welsh History - The Welsh History course gives you the opportunity to focus in detail on the history of Wales from the earliest times up to the present day, providing you with a sensitivity to a Welsh past that will be all around you during your time at Bangor. Many of the modules that you can take as part of this degree programme will be taught in both English and Welsh. The Film Studies part of this degree combines critical and creative work and practice, depending on your interests and career plans. The main aims are to provide an introduction to independent research in film studies; to develop the skills and knowledge required for the critical study of film; to develop the skill of cognition and of written and oral expression appropriate to film research; to develop the skills and knowledge required for progression to higher levels of study in critical and creative studies. At Bangor, we are committed to teaching in small groups and to the majority of our modules being delivered through weekly workshops and seminars.
