It also affords opportunities to develop specialist expertise across the physical, spatial and social sciences in the discipline of geography. Program content builds sequentially over the three years of the major and is informed by international, national and local research. Program teaching emphasises student-led, problem- based and field-based learning. The structure of the program provides a variety of enrolment pathways and learning experiences that prepare students for a diverse range of careers in such areas as environmental management, sustainability planning and policy, community development and nature conservation.
