This PhD course is for those who have already demonstrated potential for independent study at MA level. We accept proposals in all literary fields, but are particularly interested in matching students with the expertise in our research centres and among our staff. Students are offered excellent support and training, both through regular meetings with their supervisors and dedicated seminars and workshops (at both Departmental and Faculty level).

Students must have studied for at least 4 years duration. For courses that require a 2:1 equivalent, students must have achieved 80- 85% in Bachelor's degree. For courses that require a 2:2 equivalent, they must have achieved 75-80 %. Higher grades may be required depending on the ranking of the institution.
国际学生入学条件
Students need to have an overall IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each element.
