This course has an emphasis on practical work. We’re widely recognised as one of the UK’s top research departments, and work closely with the NHS, the police, and international bodies such as the United Nations. You’ll be taught by acclaimed academics whose enthusiasm for the subject is infectious and will also have the opportunity to conduct a research project on an area of particular interest each year. Looking ahead, you’ll have access to a departmental Careers Consultant, who helps to organise events and practical sessions, and who can provide one-to-one guidance to help you decide what you want to do after graduation. Half your degree credit will be from examinations and the other half will be from assessed work.
