This course develops an in-depth knowledge of French language and culture and a multifaceted understanding of historical processes. A French and History degree will allow you to will develop an in-depth knowledge of French language and culture and a multifaceted understanding of historical processes in collaboration with recognised experts in the fields of both French Studies and History. You’ll spend your second or third year abroad, consolidating and enhancing your learning. We will track your progress through language assignments, essays, presentations, portfolio submissions and examinations (written and oral). Our Modern Languages graduates work for organisations including: British Council, BBC, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, PWC, Ministry of Defence, TeachFirst, United Nations, Amnesty International.
